Do you know the importance of CIPA?

CIPA (Internal Commission for the Prevention of Accidents) is regulated by NR-05. Its objective is the prevention of accidents and illnesses resulting from work. This Commission is made up of members elected by the team itself, in addition to being designated by the employer, in an election held annually.

CIPA´s participants, also known as “Cipeiros”, carry out preventive actions, which include safety inspections with the work teams, as well as the organization of events and campaigns seeking to make workers aware of safety and prevention of accidents and occupational diseases.

It is up to employees to indicate risk situations and suggest improvements to working conditions, applying the recommendations received by the committee.

At Seta, CIPA is a strong ally that works with SESMT (Specialized Services in Safety Engineering and Occupational Medicine) at the company's units, focusing on the goal of "zero accidents". To the employees who will leave the Commission and to the new ones who are arriving, our special thanks for their support and contribution.

Together, we continue to believe that it is possible to carry out all our activities safely and without risk.
