We started our activities in 1941 in the south of Brazil, in the city of Estância Velha/RS, with the purpose of providing vegetable tannin of Acacia-Negra to tanneries in the region.                       

In these 80 years of operation, we have developed countless natural solutions based on the work of research and specialization of our raw material. We are proud of our history, which carries the mark of collaboration with nature, customers, suppliers, employees and the community.

Business development is based on taking advantage of our potential and on delivering quality products and services, sustainably produced, with care and respect for the environment and all people.

Pioneers in the export of tannins, we have developed solid partnerships, conquering clients from different segments and supplying the five continents with natural products made from Black Acacia.

We maintain our commitment to protect, restore and conserve the remnants of native ecosystems in managed areas, prioritizing their interconnection with biological corridors, respecting permanent preservation areas and natural characteristics. Currently, 54% of Seta's control areas are destined for environmental conservation, with the aim of protecting the soil, water resources and biodiversity. Forests also act in the sequestration of carbon from the atmosphere, having the potential to reduce the impacts caused by the emission of greenhouse gases (GHG).
