But, after all, what are they and what are these important documents for?
Quality Certifications
Quality certificate is a document that attests the company's competence to manufacture products or deliver services within the rules and standards pre-established by a regulatory body.
ISO 9001:2015 - Quality
Since 1999 Seta has been ISO 9001:2015 certified. Through this certification, we constantly seek product standardization and customer satisfaction.
HACCP - Process safety
In 2021, we won the HACCP CODEX Alimentarius v.2020 certification at our industrial plant in Estância Velha. HACCP - Analysis of Hazards and Critical Control Points - is a system that aims to analyze all stages of production in a preventive way, identifying, evaluating and controlling hazards that are significant for food safety.
NSF/ANSI/CAN/60 - Drinking water treatment
The Acquapol C1 product, from our product line for Water and Effluent Treatment, has this NSF certification. Since 2013, our product has been evaluated by the NSF, attesting that it is reliable and meets the most rigorous verification system for products used in the treatment of water for consumption.
FSC – Responsibility for forests
The FSC® - Forest Stewardship Council, is an independent, non-governmental and not-for-profit organization founded to promote responsible management of the world's forests.
To attest to good forest management practices, Seta has held the seal (FSC-C004306) since 2004, certifying its Black Acacia (Acacia mearnsii) plantations.
The certificate reinforces our commitment to forestry activities through our actions. In this way, we can proudly say that Seta's forests are managed and monitored with a focus on environmental protection, the safety of employees and the communities where they are located.
