The expectations for the aquatic animal food market are promising. The prospects are confirmed by the report of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations - FAO (2022), which projects an increase of 200 million tons in 2030. This fact is due, mainly, to the growth of aquaculture (cultivation of organisms whose life cycle under natural conditions takes place in an aquatic environment), with optimistic pretensions of reaching this productive level.
As in other species, to reach these projections, there must be an organization process of the productive chain and especially, by applying effective technological strategies. In relation to technology, to incorporate strategies that guarantee a sustainable production, always looking at genetics, nutrition, installations, and processing, are premises for the Brazilian fish market to be competitive.
Always ahead, with technological and innovative solutions, Seta in partnership with public and private institutions, is developing a technology to accompany this great leap in fish production in Brazil. Stay tuned, soon, news.
