Is sustainable livestock farming possible?

Is sustainable livestock farming possible?

It is known that there are many activities that contribute to the emission of greenhouse gases, causing impacts on the environment and influencing climate change.

The development of means for sustainable livestock farming is one of the great challenges of Brazilian agribusiness, in face of international pressure on this issue.

Sustainability has been one of the most important issues among cattle ranchers, research centers, and professionals. Over the years, several sustainable livestock farming models have been developed. Systems that use techniques such as CLI (integrated crop-livestock farming) and IFLP (integrated crop-livestock-forestry) contribute to the reduction of emissions, and the maintenance of ecosystems.

The reduction of methane emissions based on a sustainable management, with use of the fermentation of gases to produce renewable energy, is assertive bet for the future of livestock and food production.

In Seta, we aim to meet the demands and requirements of the livestock sector, engaged with the sustainability guidelines. Through our Natural Zootechnical Additive, the NutreSet, we can act in the animal metabolism, promoting reduction in emissions of harmful gases to the environment and adding benefits to the production rates.
