The crop benefits from the straw left by the grass, as well as from the decompacting promoted by the roots of the forage plants. Besides increasing the incorporation of nitrogen into the soil, as with leguminous crops, they make available a greater contribution of nutrients to the pasture, contributing to animal performance.
