The cultivation of Black Acacia has always stood out for its multiple possibilities, both in management and in the diversity of products.
Through consortia with agricultural crops and grazing, it is possible to maximize land use. This makes the cultivation of the species attractive to landowners in the Serrana region and in the south of the state, where the forest develops better.
In recent years, there has been a great appreciation of Black Acacia prices. This is due to the high demand from the foreign market, which uses wood mainly for the production of energy and cellulose, and the bark in the production of tannins for different applications.
